The Amtest Group is the fastest growing distributor in Central and Eastern Europe, with personnel and offices, covering our home territories of Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Slovak Republic.

Whilst founded in London in 1973, the Group has solely focused since its formation on the Central Eastern European electronics industry – and over the last decade has accelerated its growth by moving away from the traditional sales – distributor company formula to:

Firstly, through our process and automation knowledge in working with clients to achieve their vision within budget and within a set timeframe. Secondly by auditing all manufacturing partners who are offered under the Amtest brand – to ensure manufacturing quality, technical response and support structures are first class and thirdly, and just as importantly, with the Group having a “no-bid” policy if our solution does not meet client demands.

To assist this development, the Group, has developed its own Centre of Excellence located in our own facility in Budapest, Hungary, where process and development work is provided to our client base to assist them in their production challenges.

Due to the success of the Budapest laboratory, a second facility has been opened in Wroclaw, Poland.

In 2019 we opened our 3rd facility, in Botvegrad, Bulgaria.

Amtest Group now consists of over 55 personnel (which includes 17 process engineers) all working within our territories, and has become ISO 9000-2008 certified – delivering excellence throughout the Group territories.
