Fred Buining will present the progress on the Braine project, a 16M project with 8M Ecsel ju funding.
The project develops a distributed and federated Edge infrastructure (hardware and software) that can run Big Data and AI processing workloads. A mesh of Edge MicroDataCenters installed in smart hospitals, cities and factories has built-in intelligence that optimizes the utilization of the heterogeneous hardware (CPU, GPU, FPGA, NVMe).
